Owners and Resident Artists, Mary Jo Oxrieder & Windwalker (Doug) Taibi
A bit of our later-in-life history: We met in Seattle in 2002 and knew that we were soul mates. After moving to Whidbey Island, we continued to build our relationship, made new friends, married and threw ourselves into making art outside our day jobs. We found we loved working together and after several successful art shows of our work as Raven Rocks Studio, opened Raven Rocks Gallery at Greenbank Farm.
After twenty years on Whidbey Island, we jumped into a Grand Adventure and moved to the Oregon Coast in 2020, opening in our new location - Depoe Bay across from the Whale Fountain. You won't believe the view from our gallery windows! We'd love to have you visit and see for yourself.
Our gallery represents a diverse group of emerging and established artists from the Pacific Northwest. We are passionate about discovering new talent and supporting the careers of our artists. Their work ranges from functional ceramics, mosaics, watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings. Hand carved driftwood feathers. Batik Lucky Fish and Scrappers. Jewelry. Handwoven Tapestries. Miniature Beach Cottages.
Hand cut stones for display or jewelry making.
Copper & gold wall pieces.
Hand dyed & sewn silk scarves.
Hand knit hats.
